Volunteers Needed

Looking for a way to contribute your time to the parish? We have plenty of opportunities! Those interested in helping out in the below areas, and others, can contact the parish office at 717-233-1014.

1. Altar Servers for the 10:30 Mass and/or on a rotating basis.

With enough interested youth, we can hold practice sessions during the week, or on weekends. Help serve daily Mass at 8 am. Father Bernard will be glad to see you.

2. Counters

We are looking for at least 2 teams of counters (4 total) Rotating weekends mean it may be only 1 counting day a month! Many hands make light/quick work. It is not difficult, but you must be bondable.

3. Office volunteer

One day a week. Front desk, answer the door and the phone. Make copies. Hours can be split 10-12 or 1-3 pm on Tuesdays.

4. Holy Housekeepers!

Youth or adults to assist cleaning the church. Pews are wiped down each week, floors swept, books in pews straightened. Any or all of these tasks. A half- hour to an hour each week is all that it takes.

5. Enjoy a Prayer Meeting while weeding!

Say your rosary while plucking dandelions from the lawn or weeds from the rose garden. Youth or adults are welcome.
