From the Pastor’s Desk
The central idea that links the first reading and the Gospel is the food that God provides for his people. In the desert, Israel received manna, food that could give strength to a perishable body. Now God feeds his people with the bread of life, his word Jesus Christ.
He says “I am the bread of life, anyone who comes to me will never hunger”. You become a new person through him; Jesus’ real presence in the Holy Eucharist and in the Word, the Scriptures. They give us life and the true meaning of hope and endurance that leads us to our everlasting home in the presence of God. Celebrate the Eucharist with love and Hope. God is with us.
