At this month’s meeting, we will share thoughts and reflections after our visit from Manon and Andreja, the two Focolarini from Washington, and then, if time permits, we’ll discuss the aspect of Christian life that is at the heart of everything, “Union with God.”

Please consider your response to our last meeting.  What did you think of Manon and Andreja’s stories? What motivated them to leave their homes, families, and even fiance to come to the U.S.?  There is nothing in their clothes or outward appearance to show that they are part of a religious group. Was there anything about them that showed you that they do have God in the first place in their lives? As people who do not live in a “Focolare Center,” but live and work here in Harrisburg, what are ways that we can make choices and try to live somewhat like the Manon and Andreja try to live?
